Ron Brown "RB Smooth" is a native of Chicago . He has had a passion for Chicago Steppin known as "Steppin" for the past 30 plus years. His rich cultural exposure has been a great influencer to his style of instructing. 

 

  Ron has honed his skills to capture and teach the elegance of  Steppin. He teaches  the art of the dance, gracefulness of the movements, and partner synchronicity.

What is Chicago Style Steppin?

Chicago Steppin is a partner dance consisting of two or more people dancing according to a structured etiquette in synchronization to a musical 6 or 8 count beat.

Just Steppin Organization

 

Just Steppin' is the Bay Area's first social organization to bring you the Chicago dance culture and art form known as "stepping." In this six-week course, you will learn the basics, including six and eight-count beats, initial starts, pull starts, left and right turns, reverse turns, partnering, etiquette, and the history of Chicago Steppin'.
