Ron Brown is a native of Chicago and Principle Instructor/CEO of Just Steppin.com. Just Steppin is a dance company and business group that is dedicated to the evolution of the Chicago dance culture, art form and lifestyle. Ron is a accomplished engineer with a background in weapon applications & development for over two decades serving the National Laboratories.
His passion for dancing began in the early 1970’s. For more than thirty years Ron has integrated dance as apart of his daily active lifestyle. Ron teaches the art form of the dance while showcasing the gracefulness of the movements and elegance of the original style of his time. He has developed dance curriculum's into six week formats, workshops, and co-developer of the "Just Steppin 4 Health" campaign. His ultimate goal is to empower individuals and groups in developing, achieving and maintaining 10,000 Steps a day regimen through dance.
Ron has designed products for the health care industry that saved lives during the surgery process. He believes that helping and saving lives is his ministry of promoting Health & Wellness. Whether he is designing surgical products or promoting his national Healthier U Campaign, his target objective is to reach one million lives and beyond.
Ron is also the founder/instructor of Positive Young Minds On the Move (PYMOM) pre-engineering program for children. The curriculum is design to focus on the basic concepts and principles of engineering with emphasis on robotics, electrical and machine design. PYMOM is currently adopted by the Kids on the Move America program, Alameda, Ca with executive director Dr. Terecita Dean.
Ron believes that "Steppin is a Journey" of honing one's skills through dedication, practicing and continuing aspiring to be one's best.
